Hello and Welcome
I consider myself an explorer, a communicator, and a connector. Naturally curious and adventurous, I love to try new things and to learn. Creativity is central to my thinking and how I move through my life.
My career path spans journalism, educational content development, and qualitative research for institutional investors.
As writer and editor, I have developed award-winning content for business and consumer audiences. For the nonprofit education agency WestEd, I designed and developed content that helped improve education outcomes in six states. My research for institutional investors informed and drove multibillion-dollar business decisions. In each role, I enjoyed building platforms to share knowledge and foster collaboration with colleagues and clients.
My creative work includes Moth-style true stories, poetry, and improvisation. I’m also long-time yoga student and teacher, meditator, jewelry maker, and amateur chef.

“I love it when people spontaneously mashup or invent words. My current favorite is ‘floatate,’ which I used to describe a long meditation in the float tank.”
My grandmother and I shared a love of stories. Dr. Seuss and Michael Bond were two of our favorite writers. Our favorite books were Where the Sidewalk Ends and A Wrinkle in Time.
Because my grandmother read to me every day, I learned to read before I went to school. I remember curling in close under her arm and resting my head on her shoulder so I could see the words and pages as she read. We spent countless hours snuggled together reading. So, for me, reading carries the indelible energy of embrace.
